Kerala:

Kerala is a small State tucked away in the south west corner of india.

Kerala was made up of two princely States - Travancore and Cochin - and Malabar, which was part of the Madras province. On July 1, 1949, Travancore and Cochin were integrated. On November 1, 1956, the three were amalgamated and modern Kerala was born.

Kerala enjoys unique geographic features that have made it one of the most sought after tourist destinations in Asia. National Geographic voted Kerala as one of the must-see 50 destinations in the world. An equable Climate. A long shoreline with serene Beaches. Tranquil stretches of emerald Backwaters. Lush Hill Stations, unforgettable Hot Spots and exotic Wild life, Waterfalls, Ayurvedic health holidays. Enchanting Art forms. Magical Festivals. Historic and cultural Monuments, Cuisine.. All of which offer you a unique experience And what's more, every one of these charming destinations is only a two hour drive from the other. Singular advantage no other destination offers.

* With seductive beaches in quiet seclusion, flanked by cliff, headland and palm.
* With the dream-like serenity of its enchanting backwater and lagoons.
* With ancient temples and lovely palaces that make you forget the age you are in. As does shopping for antiques, cashew and gold.
* With nature cures and herbal massages that tone up your body, mind and soul.
* And with thick evergreen reserves here wild colour and wild life run riot.
* Geographically Kerala is an exotic mixture of nature's very best. The high ranges of the Western Ghats on the east. The Arabian sea on the west. emerald paddy fields. virgin forests, backwaters and beaches by the dozen.
